Law Enforcement Torch Run

through the eastern regional awareness tour (erat), Victoria Police’s law enforcement torch run is coming to beechworth, rutherglen, wangaratta & wodonga.

Victoria Police’s Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) are partnering with Special Olympics Australia to hit the road to deliver an opportunity to share the Flame of Hope with communities across regional Victoria, and promote the importance of inclusion and acceptance for people with an intellectual disability in sport and recreation.

The Torch Run is coming to the main streets of Beechworth, Rutherglen, Wangaratta and Wodonga to promote the importance of physical activity and wellbeing. Representatives from Victoria Police and Special Olympics Australia will be coming to you to help start building more opportunities for people to play sport and feel connected.

Wangaratta Torch Run & Sports Event – Wednesday 19th September
Torch Run: 9am at Merriwa Park, Ryley Street
Sports Event: 9:45am at Apex park, Clements Street

Beechworth Torch Run – Wednesday 19th September
3pm, Beechworth Police Station, Williams Street

Wodonga Torch Run & Sports Event – Thursday 20th September
Torch Run: 9am at Wodonga Police Station, 100 Hovell Street
Sports Event: 10am at Junction Square, 34 Elgin Blvd

Rutherglen Torch Run – Thursday 20th September
2pm, Rutherglen Police Station, 167 High Street
