COVID Safe Sport & Recreation
Clubs and organisations need to be able to access and understand the latest and best use resources to enjoy their sport and recreation in the ongoing COVID-19 environment. We recommend you contact your relevant State Sporting Association (SSA) or National Sporting Organisation (NSO) for any sport specific considerations that may be applicable to your circumstances.
However, we have made it easier for the clubs in North East Victoria. Please click here for your sport’s Return To Play guidelines.

When implementing a Return to Play or a COVIDSafe Plan, it is important that the 6 COVIDSafe principles are identified and addressed:
- Ensure physical distancing
- Wear a face mask
- Practice good hygiene
- Keep records and act quickly if participants, volunteers or organisers become unwell
- Avoid interactions in enclosed spaces
- Create activity bubbles
