Community Cricket Program

The Community Cricket Program is a state-wide competitive investment program that provides grant opportunities in the Community Cricket Facilities funding stream available to Local Government Authorities. Eligible projects include:
- cricket training nets
- female friendly changerooms
- facilities on school land with confirmed community use
- irrigation and drainage upgrades that improve capacity, inclusion or safety
- sports lighting (conditions apply)
As this funding is only available through your Local Government Authority, we encourage all Cricket Clubs to contact their local Council representative and if you are unsure who this is, contact Sport North East to assist.
