Women In Sport Leadership – Learn Support Lead

Expressions of Interest for 2019/2020 Alpine Indigo Program are Now Open.

Learn Support Lead: Activating Female Leaders In Sport is a 12 month female mentoring and leadership program designed to activate the uptapped skills and experience of local women on and off the field.

Women continue to be under-represented in visible leadership roles across the sport and recreation sector. Grassroots sport and recreation clubs play an important role to drive positive change.

The program includes emerging leaders, and established leaders who will act as mentors.  The program will guide participants through a series of workshops to build confidence, leadership capability, and develop networks within the North East region that will ultimately allow them to realise their leadership potential as players, coaches, administrators or committee members as well as other roles within their club.  

We are seeking participants from a variety of sporting codes and experiences.  Expressions of Interest are now open.

Please note workshops will be conducted on Wednesday evenings on a monthly basis commencing in August 2019 in the Alpine and Indigo Shires.
