Wangaratta Archers Clean Up at State National Champs

The Wangaratta Archers cleaned up with a rush of gold at the State National Championships over the weekend!
On Sunday 5th of February the State National Championships were held at Angel Archers in Balnarring. An impressive haul of gold were taken home by the Wangaratta club after a number of remarkable performances. See below for the gold medal performances by the club –
- Intermediate Boys Compound – Gus
- Masters Female Barebow Recurve – Ros
- Veterans + Compound – Paul
Ros also took out the Victoria State Grand Prix Championship for 2016, capping off a wonderful championships.
It was a great day and a wonderful experience put on by Angel Archers, thanks very much to the members for all of their hard work.
New grounds update:
Wangaratta Archers new ground at Wangaratta South Recreational Reserve is moving along nicely. With a bit of luck the club will be laying the foundations for the containers next week and is looking good for end of January at this stage.
