Walking Football is coming to your area soon!
Walking Football is a modified, low-intensity, low-impact style of soccer. Designed for older adults, this social and enjoyable sport can be adapted to suit anyone and everyone.
Walking Football can be played indoors or outdoors with 2 main components: warm-up exercises and stretching followed by short, small sided games. The length of each session is able to be determined by the participants.
Starting with Come and Try sessions as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival in October – Sport North East will be heading into the Alpine and Indigo Shires before expanding to Towong, Wangaratta and Wodonga.
All sessions are from 9.45am for a 10am start
Tue 8th Oct – Kiewa Sandy Creek Recreation Reserve
Mon 14th Oct – Bright Community Centre
Thu 17th Oct – Beechworth: Baarmutha Park
Fri 25th Oct – Mount Beauty Community Centre
