New child safe posters from Vicsport

New posters promoting child safety in sport have arrived!

As a sporting community, it is our duty of care to ensure children are safe playing sport. That’s why Vicsport has developed brand new posters for your club/organisation to pin up on the walls to show that you support child safety in sport.

Through the Vicsport website, there are three designs to choose from and available for direct download by following the links underneath each image. If you require a hard copy, contact the Vicsport office on (03) 9698 8100 to arrange postage. Click here to view and download the posters.

Digital Marketing Workshop

The City of Wodonga Council is conducting a digital marketing workshop for local community, arts and sporting groups to uncover the mysteries of digital marketing. This is a great opportunity for you and others at your club who want to find out more about the various ways digital marketing can work for you and your club.

Facilitated by the City of Wodonga Communications and Marketing team, the workshop will cover the following topics:

  • Why you can’t afford not to be online
  • How you can get online in 15 minutes or less
  • How you can communicate with your fans, friends, supporters and community
  • Case studies tailored to community groups attending the workshop

5-Day President Challenge

A lot of work is required to successfully manage a community sports club, and club Presidents know this all too well. One important task for all clubs is recruiting and retaining volunteers, and good volunteers are worth their weight in gold.
