Cancer Awareness Game

The Rutherglen Cats Football and Netball Club will host a cancer awareness day this Saturday, May 20th, when they play Wahgunyah, in memory of former coach Karl Jacka.

Karl, who coached the Cats and was a passionate supporter of young talent within the club, lost his battle with cancer in February earlier this year. His story will also feature on the AFL Footy Show tonight (Thursday, May 18th).

The Cats will wear specially-designed purple playing jumpers, with all funds raised on the day donated back to the Albury-Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
